PETE & JODI DODD of the Cat Badger Band (CBB) have a unique sound that appeals to all generations. Their playful, high-energy presentation combines folk and Americana with a hillbilly flare, and is sure to keep your feet stomping.
The CBB is from Greenville, South Carolina and has been together since 2001. Pete grew up in South Central Kentucky, and Jodi is originally from Wisconsin. Early on, Pete was strongly influenced by traditional country music greats as Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. He played Americana music on the guitar, with a preference for the music of Neil Young and the Grateful Dead. Jodi grew up playing various instruments, with a focus on the classical genre.
The two musicians now combine guitar, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, banjo, bass, various rhythm instruments, and their voices to create an eclectic style that is heavily influenced by Appalachian tunes native to the southeast.
